Easter Junior Handler Course

Looking for something fun and confidence-building for your dog-mad child this Easter?

This special 2-session Easter Junior Handlers course is designed for children aged 8–16 years who would love to build skills, confidence and a stronger bond with their own dog.

Across the two sessions, children will learn how to work with their dog in a calm, structured and supportive class environment.

Maximum 6 dogs

£40 per dog for the full 2-session mini course.

What we’ll work on:

• Engagement & focus games

• Calm lead handling skills

• Fun tricks & teamwork exercises

• Confidence building challenges

• Understanding dog body language

• Recognising when a dog needs support or a break

This is not a competitive or high-pressure class — it’s about children and dogs learning together and growing their connection.

Sessions are practical, supportive and focused on real-life skills — not just classroom obedience. Fun, confidence and genuine teamwork between child and dog are always the goal — because strengthening that bond is what it’s all about.

Important Information

• Suitable for children aged 8–16 years

• Maximum 2 children per dog

• A responsible adult must attend and remain present throughout

• Children must be able to safely handle their own dog

• Dogs must be comfortable around other dogs and children

• Any behavioural concerns must be disclosed prior to booking

I hold an Enhanced DBS check, and safeguarding and child welfare are prioritised at all times.

Spaces are limited to keep the environment calm and supportive.
